You go to the Hitching Post Grocery to get checked in, the staff were helpful, and the rooms were clean.
Only issue I had was that all the rooms were non smoking. But they did have nice benches and butt cans right out side the door. The room was neat and clean. They allowed dogs and only charge an additional $5.00 per dog.
Nice little town, friendly owner close to the Powder River where it flows into the Snake River and eventually to the Mighty Columbia River which makes its way through the dams and a few hundred miles to the Pacific Ocean, spectacular country!
I've stayed here twice and it's a reasonably priced, clean well-kept motel.
Great little motel, clean and comfortable. Minutes from fishing. Grocery/supply store across the street for check-in and anything you may need.
